An item on the Sturgeon Bay School Board meeting agenda for Wednesday may serve as a blow to high school sports on the peninsula this fall.
The third item on the operations agenda is a motion to approve the postponement of fall athletics. Southern Door voted 7-0 to follow the guidance of the Packerland Conference, which means the fall sports season is still a go but they need the COVID-19 activity level to drop to moderate or low in order to compete.

Kewaunee and Gibraltar had discussions about their fall sports seasons during their board meetings on Monday.
Luxemburg-Casco is continuing its fall sports seasons while following WIAA guidelines. The department has golf and cross country meets scheduled for this week.
